4: Quack!

This week, the boys review the week’s most popular (we assume) comic, Howard the Duck #1. We also question what’s actually happening in The Surface to finish our weekly reviews.

Discussion topics include Brubaker/Fraction/Aja’s Immortal Iron Fist, Marvel’s ability to create diverse characters, Big Man Plans #1DC upping the price of its comics and Jada Pinkett Smith leaving Fox’s Gotham.

*Please note that while the quality should be fine, I (Alan) am traveling and wasn’t able to use my actual setup and this was recorded/edited on the fly. Thanks!

Next week’s review:

  • Red One (Image) – What happens when America’s greatest hero…is a Russian Spy? Soviet Agent Vera Yelnikov is sent to 1977 Los Angeles by the Kremlin to become an American Superhero and spread communist values in the land of Uncle Sam in a funky superhero romp straight out of a Tarantino film.
